How do I know I’m getting the best care?
All Nuffield Cosmetic Surgery is performed at a Nuffield Hospital. Our hospitals are fully registered and inspected by the Healthcare Commission (HCC). The HCC exists to promote improvements in the quality of healthcare. It is the official body that regulates the registration of private clinics and hospitals providing cosmetic surgery. Reports of inspections are available to the public.
If you are considering other cosmetic surgery organisations, be wary of any establishment that appears in a rush to book you in for surgery, particularly if you are offered ‘special pricing’ to commit to surgery immediately. Remember, even if you have been booked in for surgery, you can change your mind about the operation at any time. Signing a consent form does not mean that you have to go ahead with the surgery.

How do I know I’m ready for cosmetic surgery and is it the right thing for me?
Before you choose to have cosmetic surgery, it is important to be sure that it is what you want and that you have considered any alternatives. Make sure you are fully aware of the risks of surgery before you agree and ask questions if there is anything you don’t understand.
Cosmetic surgery can improve your appearance and give you a more positive self image but it may not solve all your problems. Try to be realistic about what you can achieve and what you can afford.
If you are feeling very stressed in other areas of your life, it’s probably not the best time to consider surgery. Make sure you are doing this for yourself, not for someone else, and are clear about the possible outcomes.
Cosmetic surgery is permanent and life-changing so you need to be sure it is what you want. Our advisors are always available to discuss any concerns you may have. And don’t worry if you forget to ask something - you can always call again us later.
